THE STORY

For Brazilian-born designer Gabriela Guanais, jewelry is deeply intertwined with emotion and meaning.
From an early age, Gabriela felt a deep connection to jewelry and gemstones. Her first piece, a delicate gold ring passed down from her aunt, sparked a passion that would shape her life’s journey. Each piece she collected as a child was a treasured gift from loved ones, filled with memories and meaning—a sentiment that continues to inspire her work today.
Her fascination with gemstones took root early, thanks to her uncle, who spent years in Bahia’s gemstone trade.
“Our home was always filled with beautiful gems waiting to be transformed into jewelry. Every time I’d handle them, I was mesmerized—the brilliance of cut stones, the mystery of rough ones, and the endless creative possibilities they held. It instilled in me a deep admiration for nature and a profound respect for its gifts.”
Gabriela’s adventurous spirit and love for discovery led her to Paris, where she spent years working in the jewelry industry. The city’s timeless elegance, combined with the beauty of Brazil’s nature, became her greatest sources of inspiration.
“I’m never tired of admiring Paris. One day, I found myself gazing at a detail on a Haussmann building and thought, ‘This shape would make beautiful earrings.’ That was the moment I knew—it was time to let my creativity flourish in a deeper, more personal way. Creating my own brand felt like the natural next step.”
Gabriela’s designs are a vibrant reflection of her dual heritage, blending the energy and beauty of Brazil with the refinement and craftsmanship of France. This fusion of cultures shines through in every piece, as bold lines and vivid colors meet timeless sophistication.
Her creations are an expression of joy, audacity, and individuality—designed for those who embrace color, stand out effortlessly, and celebrate a style that is both playful and refined.
Through this singular approach, Gabriela offers a fresh, sensitive, and contemporary vision of jewelry—one that is more responsible, more personal, and more attuned to the emotional connection we form with the objects we wear.
“Emotion is at the heart of everything I create. A piece must feel ‘alive’ to me—it should evoke movement, evolve as it’s observed, and never feel static. After all, life is always in motion, always transforming. And isn’t that what makes it so exciting?”
